Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Canvas Plastic Surgery ("Canvas," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, submit our online evaluation questionnaire, or otherwise interact with us.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information: name, phone number, email address.
  • Evaluation responses: procedure of interest, what you have tried before (for example, diet and exercise or a previous surgery), whether you could travel to Miami, your desired timeline, and your approximate budget range, submitted through our online questionnaire.
  • Information from Facebook and Instagram lead forms: if you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the information you provide in that form, such as your name, phone number, email address, and your answers. Meta's handling of that information is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.
  • Communication preferences: your consent choices for operational and marketing text messages.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation.
  • To send appointment reminders and operational service updates (if you consented).
  • To send promotional/marketing messages (only if you separately opted in — see Section 4).
  • To measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Protected Health Information (HIPAA)

Canvas Plastic Surgery is a healthcare provider. Detailed medical information you share with us during an in-person or telehealth consultation is treated as Protected Health Information (PHI) and is handled in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Our online questionnaire and lead forms are intentionally limited to general, non-specific answers (such as procedure of interest, timeline, and budget) and do not request detailed medical history — this information is collected securely during your actual consultation, not through this website or our lead forms.

4. SMS / Text Message Consent

If you opt in through our contact form or our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, you may receive:

  • Operational messages (appointment reminders, service updates). Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time.
  • Marketing messages (offers, promotions) — only if you separately check that box. Consent to receive marketing messages is never a condition of receiving services. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (including advertising pixels) to understand site usage and measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. These technologies, such as the Meta Pixel, may send information about your interactions with our site to the advertising platforms we use. You can change your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies at any time; some features of our site may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

6. Before & After Photos

Any before-and-after photographs displayed on this website are used with the patient's signed consent for advertising and marketing purposes. Results shown are specific to the individuals depicted and are not guaranteed for any other patient.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our business (such as our scheduling/CRM platform and advertising partners), under confidentiality obligations, and as required by law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time, by contacting us using the information below.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services and website are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
